I know a name...

ree

Just a quick post while I'm thinking. Something I do too much of, I'll admit.

I listen to a LOT of music, at work and outside of work, with regard to both jobs. In fact, as a kid I'd say that I remember music playing on the radio or stereo happening more often in our home, than being allowed to watch TV.

And I would say that's still true for myself all these years later in my own home. It just brings me more joy than mindlessly vegging out in front of a screen.

But since music especially pertains to my fitness job, I'm often listening with intent to choreograph it. And many times I'll listen to a certain song so much, that I'm tired of it before I even finish choreography or bring it to class. But that's a whole different story.

I love almost all genres of music though and some work better than others for classes, but in my VERY diverse playlist on my phone, there's quite a bit of Christian Rock too.

At some point I may do something fitness related with that genre, but in the meantime, I thought I'd offer a random suggestion.

If you're going through something tough right now, or if you're just pulling a double in the restaurant industry and you need a good hype song on the way to work (lol), I highly suggest this song while you're in the car. I also highly suggest playing it really loud and singing along really loud too.

It does something for the soul.

I mean Brandon Lake's voice is amazing of course, but CeCe Winans is a legend.

Powerful duo... powerful song.

Happy Wednesday...

XOXO
